Canoe River General Rules

  1. Parents are responsible for behavior and safety of their children at all times.
  2. No motorcycles, motorbikes, motorized scooters, mini-bikes, drones or outboard motors allowed in the campground.
  3. Do not deface, mutilate, or misuse any equipment or other improvements supplied for your pleasure.
  4. No bike riding after dark!
  5. Quiet hours will be observed between 10:00 PM and 7:00 AM, except on Friday and Saturday when curfew is 11:00 PM. Visitors must leave by 10:00 PM. Children and teenagers must be back on their sites by curfews (Sunday-Thursday 10 PM, Friday + Saturday 11 PM).
  6. Dogs are permitted with the exception of aggressive breeds. Dogs (not more than 2) must be on a short leash at all times. Do not leave dogs unattended. Barking dogs are extremely annoying. Kindly keep pets from disturbing other campers. Owners are to "CLEAN UP" after their pets. When walking your dogs, keep them away from other sites. Pets are prohibited in cabins.
  7. Visitors must register at the office and are not allowed to bring pets.
  8. Campsites must be maintained in a neat and orderly condition.
  9. Do not cross over occupied sites or park vehicles in unoccupied sites.
  10. Check in for campsites is 2:00 PM, check out 1:00 PM. Cabin check in 3:00 PM, check out 12 Noon.
  11. You must be 21 or older to make a reservation.
  12. Showers have metered hot water, quarters only – 6 minutes per quarter.
  13. No electric heaters.
  14. Please observe a 5 MPH speed limit. Drive slowly.
  15. Firearms and fireworks are prohibited. No hunting. Fishing is permitted under our license.
  16. Do not cut trees, alive or dead.
  17. Emergency phone number 911. Please notify office if you call. (We need to open the security gate).
  18. Guests are prohibited from using the campground as a legal address.

Failure to observe these rules will constitute forfeiture or right to continue occupancy and in such case, no rental will be refunded. Management assumes no responsibility for loss by fire, theft, accident, etc. Management reserves the right to change the rates and regulations, and to evict for infractions.
